Adding a Validator

Needs admin auth + valid secp256k1 pubkey that derives to the address.

Changing Validator Set (Read This)

This is the one procedure that can brick the chain. Round-robin depends on all nodes having the exact same validator set.

1. Stop ALL nodes on ALL machines
2. Run add/remove on EVERY data directory
3. Start ALL nodes

If you add a validator to some nodes but not others, they'll disagree on whose turn it is → chain stalls permanently.

MIN_ACTIVE_VALIDATORS = 1 (since PR #234, v2.1.11). The chain can proceed with a single active validator if the rest are jailed or inactive. MIN_BFT_VALIDATORS = 4 is the BFT-quorum floor for Voyager activation.

Economics

Each validator produces ~21,600 blocks/day (86,400 1-second slots ÷ 4 validators). That's ~21,600 SRX/day per validator from rewards alone, plus floor(fee/2) from each included transaction. Total chain throughput stays at 86,400 blocks/day (1s block time).
